This event is free and open to all. The library has a limited number of solar eclipse viewing glasses--advanced registration and attendance of the program is required. Everyone is welcome to come and craft a DIY eclipse viewer without registering in advance.

Groups and families of up to 6 people should sign up together and include only the number of people who will be attending the event and need a pair of glasses. Six (6) pairs of glasses are the maximum that may be requested per family/group.

In the event of bad weather that prevents us from safely spending a significant amount of time outside or fully obstructs the view of the sun, this event will sadly be cancelled. There may be some light rain, fog, or clouds that will not completely block the view of the sun, and the event will continue as planned. If canceled, those who preregistered are welcome to pick up their reserved glasses at the library when convenient. Please check the library's social media, website, or call us if you are unsure about the weather.

Registration for this event has now closed.
