Canton Public Library is partnering with Cornerstone at Canton to host a very timely presentation called When Our Parents Need More Support on March 5, 2024 at 7PM in the Aldrich 

Social isolation can have a profound effect on seniors living at home alone. Many older adults have limited opportunities for meaningful interactions and daily exercise, especially during the cold winter months. While visiting your loved ones, it is important to keep an eye out for both physical and cognitive changes. Please join Jennifer Thoren, Director of Community Relations at Cornerstone, Canton as she takes the attendees through the signs to look out for and how to determine the best living option for your loved ones so that they can have the highest possible quality of life.  This presentation covers this topic as well as touches upon dementia and mild cognitive impairment.
